Rashid Ali from SINDH won the title of 3rd Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Tenpin Bowling Championship 2011 ended yesterday organized under the auspices of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation and Islamabad Bowling Association at Megazone Bowling Club, Islamabad.
Under Single event competition
Rashid Ali from Karachi still stood at first with total
score 3250 and average score 180.56 in 18 games. While Zafar
Iqbal from Islamabad stood at second with a total of 3241
pins with average 180.06 pins. Aleem Agha
from Karachi secure 3rd position with total 3226 and
average score 179.22. Rashid Ali
was awarded with cash prize Rs. 50,000 and Winner
trophy. Zafar Ali was awarded with cash prize
Rs. 25,000 and Runner-up trophy. While Aleem Agha
was given cash prize
Rs.15, 000 and trophy.
Under Doubles Competition, Muhammad Hussain Chatta and Muhammad Zafar both from Islamabad secure 1st position with total combined score 1170; they were given Cash prize Rs. 20,000 and Gold Medals. M. Ali Shah and Faisal Malik got 2nd position with 1094 total combined pins dropped down. They were awarded with cash prize Rs. 15,000 and Silver Medals.
Under Deaf event competition Adnan Ghani with total pins 649 got 1st position, Ghazanfar Ali with total score 519 stood at 2nd position and while Muhammad Bilal secure 3rd position with total score 519 pins. Adnan Ghani was given Gold Medal. Ghazanfar Ali got Silver medal and while Muhammad Bilal got Bronze Medal.
In Media event competition Naseem Elahi got Ist position by scoring 105 pins and was given cash prize Rs. 7,000 and trophy. Ayab Akbar made 104 score and got 2nd position. He was given cash prize Rs. 3,500 and silver medal and while Raja Zubair dropped 99 pins and got 3rd position. He was awarded with cash prize Rs. 2,000 and Bronze medal.
Ijaz Ur Rehman, General Secretary, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation said that federation is taken serious steps to promote bowling in Pakistan. Time is not far away when we truly enlighten the name of our country across the world. He said Government should take keen interest to promote bowling in Pakistan and comes forward to establish bowling alleys in every city of Pakistan.
At the end Chief Guest Mr. Shah jehan Khan, Personal Secretary, Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa distributed the Cash prizes, trophies and medals amongst the players.

Rashid Ali of Sindh is leading the 3rd Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Tenpin Bowling Championship 2011 played at Megazone Bowling Club, F-9 Park, Islamabad.
2nd round of Open Single event competition was played yesterday Saturday 16th July in which Rashid Ali from Karachi stood at first with total score 2213 and average score 184.42. While Muhammad Hussain Chatta from Islamabad got second position with total score 2142 and average score 178.50. The bowling legend Aleem Agha from Karachi secured 3rd position with total 2131 and average score 177.58. Winners are yet to be decided after the the third and final round games which will be played today at Megazone Bowling Club, Islamabad.
Under Doubles Competition Islamabad players outclass rest of the players came from the country. Muhammad Hussain Chatta and Zafar Iqbal both from Islamabad secure 1st position with total combined score 1170; M. Ali Shah and Faisal Malik got 2nd position with 1094 total combined pins dropped down. Similarly, Saqib and Ahmed secure 3rd position with total combined score 1086.
Under Deaf event competition the second and final round has also been completed. Adnan Ghani with total pins 649 got 1st position, Ghazanfar Ali with total score 519 stood at 2nd position and while Muhammad Bilal secure 3rd position with total score 519 pins.
The Prize Distribution ceremony will be held on today 17th July 2011 at Megazone Bowling Club, F-9 Park, Islamabad at 5.00 pm. Cash prizes, trophies and medals will be distributed amongst the position holders.

The Sindh Tigers Grid includes the Title Defender, Naseem
Ahmed, Aleem Agha, top seeded (National) Shabbir Lashkerwala,
the National Champion Rashid Ali, Ahmed Sheikhani (Gold
Medalist, 14thSindh Games 2011), Faizan Tariq (Gold
Medalist of 14thSindh Games under Amateur Category) Khawaja
Ahmed, Irfan Manzar, Umer Pilijo and Haris.
