The
media interactive event for independence celebrations “Sindh
Sports Board Jashan-e- Azadi Inter Media Tenpin Bowling Tournament &
Media Conference2011” is to be held at 2:00pm on August 18, 2011
in Arena Hot Shot Bowling Alley, Karsaz, organized by Sindh
Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA) with collaboration of
Sports Journalist Association of Sindh (SJAS) under the
patronage of Sindh Sport Boards (SSB).Over 20 teams from
Print / media Group will participate in the event.
The event is held under the visionary guidance and support of Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Secretary, Sport and Youth Affair, who has been a great source of inspiration for his quick progressive activities of the sports and making a sustainable development of popular sports in rural areas. He proposed the event in order to involve media with the most emerging and developing sports in the region.
The Media conference will deliver the knowledge of Tenpin Bowling from International Context to regional framework along with its technicalities and sports reporting style to help media personnel to authentically communicate about sports which will not only create the awareness and exposure of sports on mass medium but also marks the historical Visual and literature.
The InterMedia Tournament would reserve an honor for the initiative of Becker System in Pakistan. The competition will make the media personnel experience the practicality of the sports. The teams will be a mixture of media plus STBA professional players.
“The more authentic we are, the more effective be become. The proper understanding of information about Tenpin will create multiplier effect for the growth of the most emerging sports among youth. I am sure the InterMedia Event will significantly contribute towards the exposure and development of Tenpin Bowling”, said Romis Ali, General Secretary.
