Team Pakistan to Play in Brunswick Euro Challenge 2012, FRANCE

ISLAMABAD - Inter provincial Coordination Ministry has
granted NOC to two member Pakistan Tenpin Bowling team for the
upcoming Brunswick Euro Challenge Championship
which is going to be held in France from March 20-28..
Talking with TheNation on Tuesday, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling
Federation Secretary Ijaz Ur Rehman saidthat 520 players from 70
countries will take part in the event while Rashid Ali
and Ijaz ur Rehman will
represent Pakistan in the event and will participate in both
singles and doubles event.
“I am quite hopeful we will perform exceptionally well in the event and bring laurels for the country’” Ijaz said. Replying to a question regarding the team selection, Ijaz replied: “We have selected Pakistan number 1 bowler for the event. It is our responsibility to ensure Pakistan's participation in all the major international events, but in this regard we need the full backing of government. If the government give us the required backing, we can take this particular sport to new heights both at national and international level.”
He further said that they were trying hard and making sincere efforts to promote Tenpin Bowling in every city and district of the country.
