Ahmer Abbas conquered the TITLE of Saldera Open All Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014

KARACHI: Award Ceremony of
Saldera Open All Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014 is being
held today evening at 2000 hours at Royal Rodale Club, DHA,
under Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA).
Mr. Raiz Hussain Pirzada, Minister for Inter Provincial
Coordination honoured the Award Ceremony as a
Chief Guest accompanied by DG, Pakistan Sports Board – Mr.
Akhtar Nawaz Genjera, Khas Saldera & Patron in
Chief of the Championship Dr Kausar Abbas Saldera.
The STBA Management Team, Mr Aleem Agha Sr. Vice
President, Muhammad
Amin Nasir, Vice President and Romis Ali-
General Secretary welcomed the worthy Guests. The Chief
Guest distributed Cash Awards & Trophies to winning participants.
Mr. Aleem Agha concluded the ceremony by giving a note of
thank to the participants, honourable guests and media for their
dedicated support which resulted in the success of the event.

47 Male & Female Bowlers
played the Finals of Saldera Open All Pakistan Tenpin Bowling
Championship 2014 that was organized by Sindh Tenpin Bowling
Association on 22nd June at Royal Rodale Club,
DHA, Karachi. The Championship lasts for 12 days participated in
Men’s Singles, Amateur Singles,
UNDER 18 Ladies Singles, Doubles and Team Event
categories. Majority of young players (beginners) took part actively
in NOVICE category. The Championship marked a noteworthy effort to
enhance the performances of players in National Ranking Event and it
received healthy appreciation from
the players that resulted in record participation.
MASTERS SINGLES:
Ahmer Abbass Saldera leaded the tournament with the score of
average Score of 206, received PKR 75,000 cash award along
with a Winning Trophy, while Aleem Agha was the Runners-up
(179 avg), received PKR 50,000 with
a Runner up trophy, whereas Ashiq Ali secured 3rd position
(171 avg) and he was awarded PKR 25,000 cash along with a
trophy.
AMATEUR SINGLES:
Muhammad Rameez with stunning performance secured 1st position
( 171 Avg pts), received PKR 25,000
cash award along with a Winning Trophy, Faizan Tariq was the
Runners-up (171 avg), received PKR 15,000 and a Runners up
Trophy, Jawad Usman earned 3rd position (135 avg) and he
received PKR 10,000 and trophy.
NOVICE (Beginners SINGLES):
Sufyan Tariq with striking performance scored 1st position (
151 & 139 pin fall), received PKR 5,000 cash award along
with a Winning Trophy, Asfand Yar Younus was the Runners-up
(144 & 116 pin fall), received PKR 3,000 and a Runners up
Trophy, Abdul Hye took 3rd Position (121 & 120) and he
received PKR 2,000 and trophy
DOUBLES: After the
aggressive game play Ashiq Ali & Abid Ahmed secured 1st
position and received Rs.20,000 and a Winning Trophies. The
2nd Position was obtained by Ahmer Abbas & Muhammad Usma and
received Rs.10, 000 cash prize with Runners up Trophies.
The 3rd Position was secured by Daniyal Shah & Sheikh Zain
received 5,000 rupees and trophies
4 MEN’S TEAM: TEAM EVENT:
In team events Category Aleem Agha Team secure the place in
final by defeating the Ahmer’s team. The players of Winning Team
Aleem Agha Aleem Agha (Caption), Haroon Anwar, Ali
Raza & Asfand Yar Younus graib the Winning Trophy and
awarded Rs 20,000 , while team Ahmer Abbas Saldera (C)
Mushtaq Bamila, Asad Saleem & Muhammad Osama
won Runners-up Trophy and a Rs 10000.while Farhaj Ahmed,
Jawwad Usman, Abid Ahmed & Ameen Padahir secure
3rd position and received Rs.6,000 Cast Award with Trophy.
U18 LADIES SINGLES: 7
years old Amna Abbas
lead the Women Category in Championship with the average of 97 and
received 5,000 Cash
Award along with Winning Trophy,
Anum was the runners-up
with average 68 Pinfall and received Rs.3,000
cash prize with a Runners up Trophies .
Ayesha Abbas secured 3rd
position with 65 Pinfall received 2,000 rupees and trophies.

All Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014 as Chief Guest
stated”
“It is encouraging and surprising
that we have the Bowling skills of international standards in our
youth and the event conducted and witnessed by me is evidence to the
fact. I am quite impressed from PTBF /STBA management Team and
appreciate their way to promote the youth talent and their
promotion. He said Govt of Pakistan will make an effort to construct
State of the Art Bowling Alleys in each province and 20 - 30 Lanes
Bowling Alley in Karachi for international events. While answering
the media, he said required piece of Land will be allotted to STBA
to Construct a 20-30 Lanes Bowling Alley of International Standards
under private public partnership program”.
While talking to Media, Romis Ali,
General Secretary of STBA said "Federation is taking serious steps
to promote bowling in Pakistan. Time is not far away when we
will truly enlighten the name of our country across the world. He
said Government should take keen interest to promote bowling in
Pakistan and come forward to establish Bowling Alleys in every
Provence Capital of Pakistan.
Muhammad Amin Nasir,
Vice President, appealed to Government of Sindh that Tenpin Bowling
has not yet been able to establish its own club with Training
facilities and the players are facing lot of difficulties in this
regards. Government can play its part and extend support to
Association for suited measures. In order to take part in
international events we direly need training and coaching facilities
to polish the skills of our player in befitting manners. We can get
our share as this sport is much popular and being played in 144
countries. While maintaining Bowling Club we will be able to train
our young players and get them attractive to this sport. it is
renowned fact we do have skills of international standards and this
event is the evidence of it.
Mr Aleem Agha conducted a
Lucky Draw to give the evening a fabulous end, and
registered members were given high importance and encouragement for
their participation to create a lively and enjoyable environment
after a tough competition. The Lucky Draw was given on behalf of
STBA, for the registered players, against their entry and
registration coupons. The winners were given Gift Hampers from
Vision Venture & STBA. The evening ended with delicious High Tea
followed by a word of thanks by Mr. Sufyan Farrukh, the Master of
Ceremony, for enthusiastic and highly supportive participation and
presence of the audience and the players.

held today evening at 2000 hours at Royal Rodale Club, DHA,
under Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA).
Mr. Najeeb ur Rehman, Collector of customs, honouring the ceremony
as Chief Guest of Honour.

WOMEN’S SINGLES: 7 years old
Amna Abbas Saldera lead the Women Category in Championship with
the average of 97, , Anum
was the runners-up with average 68 Pinfall .
Ayesha Abbas Saldera
secured 3rd position with 65 Pinfall.
Najeeb ur Rehman, Collector of customs, formerly rolled the
Bowling Ball to express his interest with Bowling and graced the
Championship with his presence as a Chief Guest in the Opening
Ceremony which was held on 20th June 2014 at
Royal Rodale Club, DHA, Karachi.
Qualifying session of Men's Singles was to end
up today but due to encouraging response of Bowlers it has been
extended till 21 June 2014. Presently, qualifying session is being
led by Ahmer Abbas Saldera
with 203 average score, followed by
Daniyal Shah with 185
average score and Aleem Agha
with 184 Average.
Thrill in the alley with the smashing strikes of
bowlers continues to grow and number of new players joined STBA
during the qualifying rounds under the category of MEN’S SINGLES,
AMATEUR , DOUBLES & 4 MEN TEAM Event.
After the selection from qualifying rounds,
Round 1 & 2 games will be played on 21 June from 7:30 onward and
Finals on 22nd June at 7:30 onwards to mark the history
of bowling in Sindh through awarding medals and certificates to
impressive and passionate bowling champions.

Saldera Open All Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014
is organized by Sindh
Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA) and under auspices of
Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, which will be held at the
Royal Rodale Club in
DHA, Karachi on the June
10th to 22nd, 2014 under the category of
Master
Singles,
Amateur (graded),
Beginners,
Doubles and 4 man
Team Event
The closing date for the entry will be
19th June 2014 and
Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation PTBF playing rules and
regulations shall apply. It will also be one of the ranking
tournaments in Sindh toward the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling
Federation
The event is to acknowledge the emerging world class talent from Youth, titled with ‘Saldera’, an amazing 16 year old talented player who scored the Perfect Game of 300 and currently leading the top charts in Pakistan amongst mature and experienced players.
STBA
will be awarding players with prestigious awards, certificates
and Cash Prizes upto PKR 300 Thousands in Finals of
Saldera Open All
Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014. PTBF / STBA is
the only legitimate body which is playing a vital role in
promoting bowling and aiming to produce bowling stars to glorify
Pakistan internationally. Numbers of new players have joined
PTBF / STBA which is the result of dynamic efforts made by the
Association. “Once the player will qualify for their respective
category then Round 1 will be played on 20th June
and it will then proceeds towards Round 2 & Finals on 22th June
