General Secretary, STBA  & Joint Secretary  PTBF, Romis Ali along with  former national cricket team skipper and Director General PCB Javed Miandad, PCB Chief Ijaz Butt, Shahid Afridi, Wasim Bari, Moin Khan and hockey legends Samiullah, Hasan Sardar and others met the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House, Karachi for the support in efforts to raise funds for affected victims of flood

Mr. President said that sports can draw attention of people in and outside Pakistan towards the destruction across Sindh and manage fund raising events for the effected ones.

“From the core of my heart and on behalf of the people of Pakistan, I seek the cooperation of sports associations in this gigantic task. I ask you to lead and the government will follow,” President Zardari said.

Speaking on the occasion, sports community suggested for holding sporty events in major cities of Pakistan to raise funds.
